Job Description:

At Informatica, data is at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for a Product Specialist (Java L3 Support) to join our team in Bengaluru. In this role, you’ll troubleshoot complex technical issues, provide support to customers, and work closely with development teams to resolve problems in enterprise environments.

If you have strong skills in Java, C++ debugging, and troubleshooting complex systems, along with exposure to cloud-native applications, this role is designed for you. You’ll play a critical part in helping Informatica’s global customers succeed by ensuring the stability, performance, and efficiency of their systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot complex technical problems and work with customers to resolve roadblocks.
  • Support customer implementation processes in collaboration with technical support and development teams.
  • Troubleshoot issues in products as well as generic stacks like system, network, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Analyze heap dumps, thread dumps, Jstack, pstack, strace, GDB and use advanced tools like tcpdump, Wireshark, Java runtime injection, memory profilers, and DB tuning tools.
  • Develop tools for multiple endpoints (ODBC, message queues, REST, ecosystem endpoints).
  • Work with cloud-native and serverless paradigms to understand and resolve scale and performance issues.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of industry experience in Java development, enterprise software sustenance, or support.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture-based applications and system programming.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Technology (or equivalent).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across multiple layers (application, system, and cloud).
  • Knowledge of ecosystems such as databases, queues, and endpoints.
